Marseille coach Philippe Troussier has admitted he expects to be sacked by the club after a poor run of results.
“Marseille are a coach devourer. And I am in the position where I will be soon devoured,” Troussier told sports daily L’Equipe on Friday.
Asked if he was acting as if he was about to leave, the former Japan coach said: “Yes, indeed. However, you just have to read the newspapers.
“When you coach Marseille and you want to know about your future, the best thing is to go to a psychic, not go and see the president.”
Marseille have collected just three points from their last eight matches and are fifth in Ligue 1 going into the final round of matches.
