Atletico Madrid defender Tomas Ujfalusi has been ordered by a Spanish judge to pay Sevilla €875,000 plus costs for failing to honour a pre-contract agreement, the La Liga club has confirmed.

Sevilla took the former Czech Republic international to court after he joined Atletico instead of them when his deal with Fiorentina expired in 2008.

The 31-year-old, who has the chance to appeal, has been a first-team regular at Atletico since the move.
