Valencia have confirmed that they are interesetd in signing unsettled Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko.
The Mali international recently admitted he had grown frustrated with life at Liverpool and had been linked with a move to Juventus.
However, Valencia boss Ronald Koeman is now hoping that Sissoko can be persuaded to turn down a deal with Juve and return to the Mestalla.
“We know the deal is complicated but it is not complete,” Koeman told the Daily Mirror.
“He has all the characteristics of the player we need.”
