Argentinean midfielder Ever Banega is set to complete a move from Boca Juniors to Valencia after signing a four-year deal.
Banega helped Boca win the Copa Libertadores in 2007 and was a member of the successful Argentine U-20 side which won the World Cup last year.
Speaking to Radio La Red Boca vice president Jose Beraldi confirmed the players exit: “We still have to wait a few days because there are some papers left to be signed but Boca will receive $20million for this transfer.
“The arrangement has been done between both clubs without any agent in the middle.”
Banega has been brought to the Mestalla as a replacement for the out-of-favour David Albelda.
