Man United must overturn a 2-1 deficit against Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarter-final 2nd leg on Wednesday – see the betting here

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic hopes Manchester United rediscover their “winning mentality” after suffering back-to-back defeats to Bayern Munich and Chelsea.

Defeat to Chelsea on Sunday has left Carlo Ancelotti’s men in the driving seat for the Premier League title, while United must recover from a 2-1 loss in Munich to reach the last four of the Champions League.

“I believe and hope we can find some energy,” Vidic told Key 103 radio ahead of United’s return game with Bayern. “We need to rediscover that winning mentality. We need to stick together and we need to play like a team.

“The last few games have been hard. They have been emotional. But we are in this position now and we need to deal with it the best we can.

“We always look to move on. We were disappointed with the Bayern game. It wasn’t just the result, it was the way we played.

“But in the second half against Chelsea, we showed a bit more courage. We pressed the ball higher. We played better than we did in the first. But we still need to improve that final ball.”
