Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that Patrick Viera is unlikely to be fit for Arsenal’s final league games.

Viera had been planning to make his return from injury in next weekend’s match against Leeds, but Wenger thinks that would be too soon to make a return.

“Patrick is still out,” Wenger told Arsenal’s website. “And I think Leeds will be too early a target.”

Viera came off injured during the match with Manchester United last week after aggravating a knee injury.

He will miss the weekend clash with Bolton as well as the game with Leeds and there are fears that he will not play again this season.
