Monaco striker Christian Vieri will reamin in Milan for another fortnight to recover from the knee injury picked up last weekend, the club has confirmed.
“Christian Vieri will stay two more weeks in Milan before a further medical check,” a Monaco spokeswoman said.
Vieri, who still hopes to earn a place in the Italy squad for this year’s World Cup finals, is expected to be out of action for up to four weeks.
