David Villa says he wants to stay at Valencia, despite ongoing speculation linking him with a move to the Premiership this summer.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are all reportedly interested in signing 25-year-old striker.

However, Villa, who is under contract with the Primera Liga outfit until June 2013, insists his future lies at the Mestalla.

“My wish is to stay here,” said Villa. “Not only this year but in the future because I am under contract and I hope I can extend it.

“In any case, we will have to wait and see what happens this summer.”

He has scored 15 goals in 35 league appearances this season, helping Valencia secure fourth position in the Primera Liga, which guarantees Champions League football next season.
