Big spending Manchester City only finished 10th last season but are being well supported to finish in the top 4 after flashing the cash this summer.

Mirko Vucinic admits he is flattered by the interest shown in him by Premier League clubs but he confirmed that wants to remain at Roma.

The Montenegrin forward has been a reported target of Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool this summer.

“I will remain at Roma despite all the transfer reports that no doubt give me pleasure,” Vucinic told AS Roma Channel. “The fact that there has been interest makes me happy because it means that I have grown and become a player of international level.”

Vucinic was Roma’s second top scorer last season behind team captain Francesco Totti with 11 goals.

The 25-year-old last month extended his contract with the Eternal City outfit until June 2013.

“The last contract I signed means that I have made my choice,” he said. “Roma represents my future.

“I owe a lot to this club because had it been for my performances in the first year, I would have been the first to admit that I deserved to be dropped. But instead, it’s thanks to this club that I have the possibility to grow as a player.”
