Celta Vigo coach Miguel Angel Lotina admitted his side rode their luck in their 1-0 win over Valencia in a result which ended the champions’ unbeaten start to the season.

Vallencia had two penalties saved by Pablo Cavellero, only to see Celta win in the cllosing mminutes when Vagner converted after seeing his initial penalty saved.

“We won a very difficult and complicated game against a team who put us under lots of pressure,” said Lotina.

“We didn’t produce any good football.’ he added.

‘The result is thanks to our goalkeeper who saved two penalties.

“They were the better team, but we scored – they didn’t.”
