The Oscar Inn Eco Resort in Aguas de Lindoia will provide accommodation and training facilities for the Ivory Coast.
Created by former Brazilian international Oscar, who captained his country at the 1982 World Cup, also runs a youth development academy at the site. The small town is most famous for its hot springs, although it not particularly accessible by air, with the nearest airport ¬– Viracopos–Campinas – more than a two-hour drive away.
Their first match, against Japan, is in Recife, some 1,300 miles away and a flight time of just over two and a half hours.
They then play Colombia in Brasilia. This is a one hour flight and 496 miles from Viracopos airport. The final group match is the furthest away, 1,443 miles and two hours 55 mins to Fortaleza to play Greece.
