Gianluca Zambrotta’s agent has dismissed reports linking the Barcelona defender with a move to England.
Reports have suggested that Chelsea and Tottenham were considering a move for the Italy international, but the player’s agent Marcello Bonetto says he has not heard anything from either club, and expects Zambrotta to stay in Spain until the summer at least.
“I don’t know anything of this interest,” Bonetto told skysports.com.
“I have absolutely no news on interest from either club.
“Gianluca will stay at Barcelona at least until June and then we will see.
“He has a contract until 2010 and I have not been told anything by Barcelona about any contacts.”
