Cristiano Zanetti has pledged his future to Internazionale and has played down talk of a move to Juventus.

Juve coach Fabio Capello revealed recently that he was interested in signing the midfielder but Zanetti has admitted he is happy to stay at Inter.

“I hope to stay at Inter as long as possible,” said Zanetti. “If they tell me I must leave, that would be different.

“But from both parties there is the will to continue together. I feel good, I’ve been here for a a few years I want to stay.

“My contract expires in 2006,” he added.

“We will do it [agree a new deal] when the time comes.”
