Argentina striker Gabriel Batistuta claims he has received offers from two English teams and expects to be playing in the Premier League next season.

Although playing for Inter, Batistuta’s registration belongs to Roma, who will sell him at the end of the season.

‘I still have two more years to keep playing at a good level,’ Batistuta told Argentine radio network Mitre.

‘I also have offers from Italian teams but on balance my desire is to play in England, more than other things.

‘In less than 15 days I will know my future.

‘After one or two years in the Premier League I may finish my career at Boca Juniors.’

Batistuta, 34, did not name the English clubs, but among those believed to be inetrested in securing his services are Chelsea and Fulham.
