Bayern Munich have signed 18-year-old Brazilian defender Breno from Sao Paulo.
Bayern did not disclose a fee for the transfer, but German media have claim the Bundesliga outfit have paid at least $18 million for the highly rated centre-back.
Breno will sign a five-year contract on January 1.
“We’re delighted about getting him,” Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said on the club’s Web site. “He’s a young and exceptionally talented player.”
