Czech international duo Petr Cech and Tomas Rosicky are reported to be close to sealing moves to big spending Premier League club Chelsea.

Cech has agreed to join Chelsea from French team Stade Rennes at the end of the season, his agent claimed.

“Petr’s transfer is almost done, but the two clubs still have to confirm everything in writing,” Pavel Zika was quoted as saying.

Chelsea have spent £111m on new players since Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich took control last year.

The 21-year-old Cech will cost Chelsea around £9m, newspapers said.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund’s Czech Republic midfielder Tomas Rosicky claims he has agreed terms to join Chelsea.

“I’ve known about Chelsea’s interest for eight or nine days.” said Rosicky.

“It is now down to the clubs to see what happens, but if I was Borussia I would not refuse the offer.”

However, at the same time Rosicky was discussing the appeal of a move to England, the Czech international was heard enthusing about the prospect of playing in Spain.

“They (Barcelona) are interested in me,” Rosicky told AS.

“It would be a dream for me to come here. The best players in the world play in Spain and that is an advantage for every player.”
