Premier League leaders, Man Utd, can go back to the top of the table with a win over Pompey tonight.

Atalanta coach Gigi Del Neri has confirmed he will leave the club in the summer but dismissed suggestions that he has another job lined up.

Atalanta confirmed on Monday that Del Neri would not be with the club next season.

Del Neri says he is looking for a new challenge and no longer wants to be in charge of an Atalanta side that is unlikely to be challenging for honours in the near future.

“It’s not true that I’ve got offers from another side,” Del Neri told the Italian media.

“I am leaving simply because there is a difference in objectives between myself and the club.

“I only say I don’t want to struggle for salvation, but for other aims.

“It could be that I will go elsewhere but it’s also possible I’ll have a season break.”
