Rubin Kazan forward Alejandro Dominguez claims he is close to sealing a move to Primera Division outfit Valencia.
The Argentinian had long planned to leave when his contract expires later this month.
“My move to Valencia is almost complete. I have pushed to complete it now because I want to play football in Spain and dream of having [David] Villa and [David] Silva as team-mates,” he told superdeporte.es.
“It is true that Rubin offered to extend my contract for another season and that is a gesture that I valued greatly, they have always been great to me.”
Super Deporte claim his three-and-a-half-year deal will be worth €1.5 million per season, with a signing-on fee of €2 million.
