Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o insists he has no interest in joining Inter amid renewed speculation surrounding his future.

The Cameroon international, the leading scorer in Spain this season, has been persistently linked with a summer move away from the Camp Nou.

Inter are understood to be admirers, with coach Jose Mourinho a fan of the 28-year-old, while Italian rivals Milan have also been credited with an interest.

However, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has previously stated that he does not want to see Eto’o leave and the player himself has now dismissed reports of an end-of-season departure.

“I am not aware of any interest from Inter,” he said after Cameroon’s 1-0 defeat to Togo on Saturday.

“I just lost an important match. I am not here to talk about transfer rumours.

“I am fine at Barcelona. I am enjoying my football.”
