Luis Fabiano’s agent claims Manchester City are monitoring the Sevilla striker.
City are expected to spend heavily during the transfer window and at least one striker would appear high on Mark Hughes’s wanted list.
Fabiano, who scored a hat-trick for his country against Portugal last week, has scored just three goals for Sevilla this season – but his agent Jose Fuentes claims a host of clubs, including City, are tracking him.
“Manchester City have asked about Fabiano but that is not unique because they are just one of many,” Fuentes told Daily Star.
“The final decision lays with Seville and I still have to speak to the club’s directors.”
