Turkish club Fenerbahce have confirmed they are in negotiations with Sol Campbell of Arsenal and Chelsea’s Argentine striker Hernan Crespo.

“We’ve been in contact with Campbell, but no deal has been reached yet. We’ve also spoken to Crespo, but there again nothing’s been agreed,” Fenerbahce spokesman Mehmet Catay said Wednesday.

“All the decisions have been put back until next week when our new management will be in place,” Catay added in reference to the resignation last week of the club president after Fenerbahce ended the season trophy-less.

Campbell is rumoured to have been offered a three-year deal worth £70,000a week but the 31-year-old England centre-half has confirmed that he will make no decision about his future until after the World Cup.
