Roma midfielder Pep Guardiola is to return to Brescia on loan until the end of the season.
Guardiola, who spent his entire career with Barcelona before moving to Brescia at the start of the 2001-02 season, was unable to secure a first-team spot at Roma following his move to the capital last summer.
The ex-Spain international midfielder missed four months of his first season in Italian football after he twice testing positive for the banned steroid nandrolone.
Brescia currently lie 13th place in Serie A.
