Paris Saint Germain boss Vahid Halilhodzic has confessed his desire to move onto coach a top European team in the future.

“Coaching PSG is a prestigious job. It is difficult on many levels,” he said.

“I think one day, perhaps, I will be with a greater club. I know what I want.”

Despite turning around the fortunes of the French side and taking them to third place in Le Chapionnat, the Bosnian refuses to get too carried away by the prospect of Champions League football.

“I signed here four for years and I want to challenge for the title in that time,” he added.

“But here we are not rich. Champions League qualification is not my first aim.

“But I will do my best to finish as high as possible in the table, and why should that not be first?”
