Thierry Henry is confident he will be fit to face Roma in Tuesday’s vital Champions League encounter at Highbury.

The Frenchman limped out of Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Chelsea in the FA Cup on Saturday complaining of cramp in his calf.Immediately after the game, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger rated his striker as highly doubtful for Tuesday’s clash although Wenger later admitted that Henry’s chances had improved to 50-50.

However, the player admitted that he expected to be fit.

“The calf muscle is hard but I am optimistic that I will be able to play,” said Henry.

Dennis Bergkamp, who was rested against Chelsea, is also expected to be fit to face the Italians.
