Jose Mourinho believes things are coming together at Inter having guided the side to the top of Serie A.

A 3-1 win at Torino on Sunday took the Italian champions go to the top of the table on goal difference, above Juventus.

“The game system is not important, but the game principles are and the team can improve match by match,” Mourinho told Sky Italia.

“I’m not interested in having two strikers or one, a winger or two. In Italy they talk a lot about this, but I’m not interested in these things.

“It’s not easy to have the total control of the match. Inter have been the strongest, we scored three times, we could have scored more.”

Mourinho paid tribute to his strikeforce of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Adriano for the manner in which they have begun the campaign.

“Adriano? Everyone is talking about the goal he scored against Panathinaikos, but I think it’s better what he did today against Torino, in terms of ball possession and other things,” he added.

“I’m really satisfied by the way in which he’s doing things. Ibra has again been sensational.”
