West Ham, who are now 3 points adrift at the foot of the table, are now 1/2 for the drop.

Feyenoord striker Luc Castaignos’ agent Arie Treffers has confirmed that talks have already taken place with Inter about a possible move to the European champions.

Tottenham and Arsenal are also rumoured to be in the hunt for the player, but Treffers conceded that much of the talk was speculation, although meetings have already taken place between respective Inter and Feyenoord directors Marco Branca and Leo Beenhakker.

“The two technical directors of the club, Branca and Beenhakker, have already met,” Treffers told calciomercatoweb.it.

“But for now the Nerazzurri manager (Rafael Benitez) is in Abu Dhabi, he should return next week and make a proposal to Feyenoord.

“At the time there was only some conversation between the two.

“As for us, Luc would not mind staying at Feyenoord to continue to grow, but if the two clubs would reach an agreement, we would of course be ready to take a further step in his career.

“Arsenal and Tottenham’s interest? Around him there are many clubs interested, but Inter is the only one that has actually moved concretely. We’ve decided to wait on the evolving of talks between Inter and the Netherlands.”
