AZ Alkmaar defender Jan Kromkamp admits he is disappointed that a proposed move to Valencia collapsed.
The deal stalled after the two clubs failed to agree on a payment method for the right-back and in now looks like Kromkamp will remain in Holland next season.
”Of course I am disappointed, in how AZ worked but also how Valencia cancelled the deal,” said Kromkamp.
”Everything took much too long. Now I need some rest.
”Hopefully I can get some days off for a holiday from AZ.
”There is a slight chance I can move to Porto. But I don’t want to count on anything anymore.”
