Joe Kinnear will be looking for his first win as temporary boss of Newcastle when they face West Brom in the Premier League tonight.

Germany coach Joachim Low insists he will not fly to London to meet Michael Ballack in an attempt to resolve the simmering feud between the pair.

Low wants to meet Ballack in person after the midfielder’s accused the coach of not showing respect to senior players.

Ballack is prepared to return to Germany to discuss the situation with Low, but has been prevented from travelling by Chelsea.

The Blues sent the German Football Federation (DFB) a fax to confirm that Ballack has been blocked from returning to his homeland.

However, Low believes Ballack should have informed him of the situation and is adamant he will not be heading to London to sort out their differences.

“I told him quite clearly that I would have expected him to tell me that personally,” Low told Bild.

“Even if other people see things differently, I would never have flown to London.

“That has always been my stance from the beginning and I am sticking by it.”
