Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini has been given the backing of club chief Massimo Moratti.

Inter’s win over Parma on Sunday was their first in the last four Serie A matches, but despite their poor recent form Moratti retians faith in Mancini.

Inter are currently fourth in Serie A, ten points behind leaders Juventus, but Mancini bleieves the best is yet to come.

“Those are supportive words at a time when we haven’t been picking up as many points as we should have,” he commented.

“Now we have to start recovering in the next few games. But we must not think about anyone else, only what we have to do.”
