Milan’s Alberto Paloschi was overwhelmed after scoring with his very first touch in Serie A.

The 18-year-old came off the bench to score the winner for Milan against Siena on Sunday.n.

“I had a bit of luck, too. I really didn’t expect to score on my debut and I still feel goosebumps now,” he said.

“I have had the opportunity to play at San Siro in the Coppa Italia, but there were only 5,000 spectators,” he said.

“Today the stadium was packed and it really is another atmosphere entirely. I am happy to have scored today and hope to net many more.

“I dedicate this goal to my family. Up until now they have made many sacrifices to take me from my hometown of Bergamo to Milan and I owe it all to them.”

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that despite his initial impact, Paloschi would be returning to the youth set-up.

“Paloschi will remain with us and train for few days, but unless we have an emergency like we had, then he will go back with our youth side,” he said.
