Parma have offered their support to beleaguered coach Silvio Baldini.

Baldini is under pressure following Parma’s terrible start to the season which has seen them win just twice in 14 matches and lie third from bottom in the table.

But Parma’s chief director Luca Baraldi has ruled out sacking Baldini.

“Baldini is absolutely not at risk,” confirmed Baraldi.

“He’s doing good work and we are convinced that, with determination and without being discouraged, results will arrive soon.”

Baraldi was encouraged by the 2-1 defeat to Milan at the weekend.

“I think the right result against Milan would have been a draw but, if this is Parma’s performance and we continue in this way, I think we will be unlucky at the end,” he added.
