Paris St Germain have suspended vice-president Rodolphe Albert over accusations that he embezzled the club out of funds.

Albert is accused of using a club credit card and cheque book for his own purposes. He is reported to have embezzled more than 20,000 euros.

PSG have lodged a complaint for fraud with French finance inspectors.

“We have directly informed the justice (department) about this matter,” club president Francis Graille told Le Parisien newspaper on Wednesday.
