Jose Antonio Reyes’ agent has admitted that his client would be interested in a move to Real Madrid.
Jaime Rodriguez claims that Real have been chasing Reyes since he first emerged as a teenager for Sevilla.
Arsenal have admitted that the 21-year-old was suffering from personal problems off the pitch before Christmas and now Rodriguez has hinted that Reyes would be interested in a switch to Madrid.
“It was a long time, around eight years ago, when they first showed an interest and now the rumours are starting up again,” Rodriguez added.
“It is an honour for Reyes that Real Madrid are interested in him, but they know what his situation is and what is the path they have to follow.
“If the clubs can reach an agreement there will be no problem.”
Some reports have claimed that any deal taking Reyes to Real Madrid would see England striker Michael Owen move to Arsenal.
