Sevilla have rejected two bids for Daniel Alves, as the club looks for an offer that exceeds their valuation of the player, according to their president.

Jose Maria del Nido has stated that he will not be bullied into selling Alves.

“We have refused an offer of €35m and another one that was of almost €32m, which did not include any swap deals,” he said.

“The first call was on Tuesday and the second was received on Wednesday.

“If we receive an offer that is above his current value in the market, then he could leave us and if not, we will remain calm.”

Alves has admitted he is looking to leave Sevilla, but Del Nido remains confident that Alves will give his all, if his request for a move is turned down.

“Alves is a magnificent professional and I think he will carry on in the same way as always,” the president added.

“I am convinced that he will carry out his duties with Sevilla and will not have any problems either economically or personally here.”
