Internazionale’s abysmal recent form continued with a 3-1 defeat at home to Brescia, but coach Alberto Zaccheroni will not step down.

“It’s a difficult time for the club and we have played badly,” admitted Zaccheroni.

“We have no excuses, we should have done better.

“When we scored we should have been able to keep control of the game.

“I am taking my responsibilities and I will certainly not be resigning.

“I want to play to the best of our ability for the rest of the season. I’m sure this team can do more.”
