La Louviere ‘keeper Silvio Proto has said that he’s unconcerned by interest from Arsenal and Manchester United, who both scouted the 21-year-old during his side’s draw against Lokeren on Saturday.
Proto won his second cap for Belgium last week, and is also being monitored by several continental clubs including Barcelona, Fiorentina and Paris St-Germain.
Proto said: “The interest in me doesn’t worry me at all, however, I would sooner join a big club in Belgium and play regular first-team football, rather than go to a prestigious foreign side and sit on the bench, but no Belgian clubs have come in for me.”
