Brazilian striker Ronaldo has agreed to join Sao Paulo-based Corinthians on a one-year contract.
Fabiano Farah, the agent of the former Milan forward, revealed that an agreement had been reached with the club on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old has been training at Flamengo as he looks to build his fitness up after recovering from a serious knee injury suffered last February.
“We’ve reached a verbal agreement for Ronaldo to play there (Corinthians),” said Farah, who had previously reported that the player had attracted interest from four Premier League clubs including Manchester City.
Ronaldo ruptured a tendon in his left knee in a Serie A game for Milan against Livorno in February and later left the Italian club.
