Bayern Munich have insisted that they have no intention of selling Franck Ribery.
The French playmaker is believed to be a target for several of Europe’s leading clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona.
Bayern have repeatedly made it clear that Ribery is not for sale, with chairman Karl-Heinze Rummenigge saying on Friday that no amount of money could persuade them to part with the player.
General manager Uli Honesss has reaffirmed Bayern’s stance.
“Did you ever think that we would give in?” said Hoeness. “Have we ever shown signs of weakening?
“Franck will be on our training field on July 1.”
