Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani remains unconcerned about his club’s failure to sign a new striker, arguing that the club has plenty of time to find the right man.
Milan have been linked with Sevilla frontman Luis Fabiano and Arsenal’s Emmanuel Adebayor, after the chase for Wolfsburg forward Edin Dzeko appeared to have failed, but Galliani said he was in no hurry to make a signing.
“We will go to pre-season without a new striker, but someone will arrive. There is still plenty of time as the transfer market is very long,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.
Galliani did hint that he is still hoping to sign the Porto’s Aly Cissokho, despite the move collapsing after the defender failed a medical.
“The transfer talks for Cissokho is still on standby,” concluded the chief.
