Bayern Munich are still hoping sign Chelsea full-back Jose Bosingwa this summer.

The Bundesliga outfit, who are on the look-out for a right-back, had identified the 26-year-old Portuguese international as their first-choice.

Chelsea however don’t appear keen to sell, but that hasn’t deterred the Germans from continuing their pursuit.

“We are still in the hunt for a right-sided full-back” chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Sportbild-Online.

“We are convinced by Bosingwa and believe that he would fit in well at Bayern Munich. We are still in contact with Chelsea and I am not pessimistic, that the book is closed on this instance.”
