Egypt FA officials are considering ordering doping tests at all domestic league matches.

This follows the suspension of starlet Amir Azmy for 14 months after he tested positive during the World Youth Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

Azmy was the second Egyptian player to be banned after Hani Said, now playing in Italy, failed a dope test during the 2002 African Nations Cup in Mali.

Azmy has appealed against his ban to FIFA on the grounds that he unknowingly ingested a stimulant from medicine used to ward off flu.
