Rangers are set to strengthen their injury-hit defence by signing Middlesbrough’s Ugo Ehiogu.
The 34-year-old has arrived in Glasgow looking to seal a deal with the Ibrox club.
“Ugo is here and talks are continuing,” a Rangers spokesman said.
Ehiogu has been out of favour at the Riverside and joined Championship strugglers Leeds on loan at the end of November.
Rangers new coach Walter Smith has already brought the veteran David Weir to Ibrox on loan from Everton.
