Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been fitted with a pacemaker after undergoing treatment for a heart condition in December.
The 62-year-old underwent the procedure several days ago but was back to work within 24 hours.
Ferguson, who had been suffering from an irregular heartbeat said: “I want to reassure fans everything is okay.
“It was an option for me to get this done. The club knew about it and I feel great. It’s business as usual.”
