Thierry Henry will miss the first leg of Arsenal’s Champions League qualifier because of a lack of fitness.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger believes the tie has come too soon for the striker, who has missed pre-season training after representing France in the World Cup final.
Arsenal will also be without keeper Jens Lehmann, who is suspended after being sent off in last season’s final.
Wenger confirmed to the club website: “Jens is suspended and Thierry will be short as well.”
