Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen claims he would not consider a move to Liverpool, stating that Barcelona are the only club that could tempt him away from Ajax.
The highly-coveted teenager has been linked with a move to Liverpool, and Reds assistant manager Sammy Lee was recently spotted on a scouting trip to watch the 19-year-old in action.
Eriksen has a contract at Ajax until 2014, and the Danish international says he would turn down an offer to join a Premier League club.
“If I got an offer from Liverpool right now, I believe I would reject it,” Eriksen said
“Ajax is a good club for me at the moment and I believe it will be that for a couple of years. If I did move, it would have to be to FC Barcelona.”
