Rangers’ goalkeeper Stefan Klos has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the Scottish champions until 2007.

“I’m delighted to be staying because it’s really all I ever wanted,” Klos told the club’s official website on Friday.

“I had 18 months on my contract so it was never my intention to leave this summer anyway.”

The 32-year-old German keeper has been one of Rangers’ most consistent performers in what has been a disappointing season to date.
