Acting South Korea coach Kim Ho-kon stayed loyal to most of the players who starred in last summer’s World Cup when he named the squad to play Brazil in next week’s friendly.

Midfielder Kim Do-hoon, who scored against Brazil in a friendly three years ago, has regained his place after being overlooked for the World Cup. Another change from the World Cup is the inclusion of striker Kim Dae-eui, who has enjoyed a good season in the K-League.

Two players missing out on next Wednesday’s match are midfielder Park Ji-sung,who plays for Japanese club Kyoto Purple Sanga and Lee Eul-yong, now at Turkish club Trabzonspor. Park and Lee scored against Portugal and Turkey respectively in the finals.
