Milan’s chief officer Adriano Galliani has hinted that Milan will not interested in signing Ronaldo if the Brazilian leaves Real Madrid in the summer.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move to either of the Milan clubs, but according to Galliani there has been no contact with the player.

“Ronaldo is a great player, but we have absolutely not done a thing about him,” Galliani told Corriere dello Sport.

“Milan will never buy players from those big clubs who don’t sell or, should they sell, they ask a lot of money.

“We must choose from medium clubs, who have big players and who are ready to sell them.

“Last year, [Alberto] Gilardino has been the most important coup. We go to Parma, who had put their best forward on the market.

“We did the same thing with Kaka. If we wait for players to become famous, and they go to a top team, it is the end.”
