Fulham striker Vincenzo Montella’s agent has confirmed the player will return to Roma when his loan period expires this summer.
Montella joined the Premiership club on loan in January and has scored four goals already for Chris Coleman’s team, but the prospects of a permanent move are remote as Fulham cannot afford the Italian’s wages.
“Montella will definitely go back,” said Tinti. “Fulham cannot match his wage demands.”
Tinti also dismissed suggestions that Montella could be the subject of a swap deal for Milan’s Filippo Inzaghi.
“Many stupid things are written,” declared Tinti, who is also agent to Inzaghi. “This is one of many.”
