PAOK Salonika are looking for their fourth coach in the space of 12 months after Nikos Karageorgiou resigned.

“I want to thank PAOK’s fans for their support. I wish the team good luck in the league and success in the future,” Karageorgiou said in a statement.

Karageorgiou, a former PAOK player, replaced the sacked Rolf Fringe in mid-February.

PAOK finished last season in fifth place but have only one point to show from their two league games this season.

On Thursday they drew 1-1 with Metallurg Donetsk in the first leg of their UEFA Cup first round match in Thessaloniki.
